Department Position Description
Restaurant Server

A successful candidate for this role will be prompt, courteous and hospitable. Previous experience in a fine dining environment and working knowledge of SilverWare POS would be an asset. Kitchen Chef de Partie

Sparkling Hill Resort is looking fill the position of Chef de Partie. The successful candidate will have strong leadership skills and will take the lead during morning shifts. Candidates should be interested in working for a World Class Resort. Front Desk Night Auditor

Previous hotel experience is preferred, but not necessary if similar, related experience and/or education is applicable. Previous Maestro experience is an asset. For more information, click here.

Front Desk Reservations Agent

Individuals must have previous hospitality experience working in resorts or hotels, and directly in Guest Services. Preferred candidates will possess a minimum of 2+ years’ experience as a Front Desk Agent, or working in Reservations. Previous Maestro Property Management System experience is an asset. KurSpa Spa Practitioner

Candidates must demonstrate exceptional guest service skills in addition to possessing experienced Spa Practitioner qualifications and skills. Applicants may have a variety of related experience in the Spa/Beauty profession and sector, with relative working experience in the Spa Sector, or hotel/resort setting. Previous hospitality or guest services experience is an asset but is not required. Candidates must have a bona fide certificate from an accredited program in either BC or Alberta. Restaurant Bartender

Applicants should have professional and friendly demeanor, be able to perform under pressure, and be committed to the highest level of customer satisfaction. Restaurant Assistant Restaurant Manager

The Assistant Restaurant Manager will be responsible for working with the Restaurant Manager to oversee all aspects of operation for our PeakFine Restaurant, Barrique & Java cafe, as well as executing banquets and functions. For more information click here.

Maintenance Cabinetmaker

A successful candidate for this position will have previous experience with woodworking/assembly/cabinetmaking as well as saws, routers, drills, and basic woodworking tools. In addition to woodworking duties, this individual will assist with general maintenance duties in the resort such as minor repairs, assisting with guest requests in hotel rooms, and preventative maintenance schedules. Restaurant Cafe/Lounge Server

This position will work in Barrique & Java Cafe, Sparkling Hill's coffee bar by day and wine lounge by night! A successful candidate will be comfortable working independently and must be comfortable bartending. Restaurant Junior Server

Service style is European fine dining and staff will go through an intensive, European training program to host and serve in our resort dining locations: PeakFine Restaurant (seats 240); Barrique & Java (70 seats); Austrian Ballroom for banquets/events (seats 180); and Gernot's private lounge (seats 30). Candidates will be prompt, courteous and hospitable. Candidates must also be well groomed and service orientated. Front Desk Valet / Bell Person

The Valet/Bell Person position is an important role for the Resort as it’s the first impression for our hotel patrons – walking out to greet and welcome the hotel guests, while assisting with luggage and awaiting check in with the Front Desk Agents. This role also ports the guest's luggage to the room and orientates the guest to the design/layout of the room and ensuring the guests are satisfactorily settled. For more information, click here.

Housekeeping Laundry Attendant

Kitchen Steward/Dishwasher

The role is to work in a large commercial kitchen, operating a conveyor belt dishwashing system, scrubbing pots/pans, sanitizing kitchen area, wash and sweep floors, remove garbage, etc. In addition, general basic cleaning duties in the kitchen for hygiene and food sanitation will be needed. Restaurant Host/Hostess

This role is to be the first point of contact for guests when they arrive in the Restaurant, and to provide a high level of fine-dining service. Housekeeping Linen Attendant

This role supports the Housekeeping team by entering the guest rooms to remove all linen and then sorts for washing by the Laundry team. Other support duties such as delivering linen and amenities and assisting with folding/ironing are also a part of this position. For more information click here.
