Sparkling Hill. The name refers to the dramatic light reflections from Lake Okanagan which inspires the “crystal architecture” designs in both the overall structure as well as the unique interiors. Designed by Swarovski crystal architect Andreas Altmayer, Sparkling Hill Resort incorporates 3.5 million Swarovski crystals in virtually every element of the property. It is the first public building in the world with crystal architecture.
Mr. Gernot Langes-Swarovski, patriarch of the Swarovski family and former head of the Swarovski crystal company, is the principal owner of the resort. With the vision to share the European approach to whole body wellness, he initiated the process of designing and constructing an unparalleled wellness resort through his own private company.
