Terrace Restaurant Opens for the Summer!
At Sparkling Hill, there’s never a shortage of fine dining and snacking options to choose from. And for the next couple of months, you can add one more to the list for the 2023 summer season!
Our Terrace Restaurant is now open from noon to 8 p.m. daily, and you don’t have to be a guest of our hotel resort in Vernon to stop by. Make the most of your day by savouring a wonderful meal and the delicious views of the northern Okanagan Valley. There’s no better place to revel in the wonder of nature than from our elevated deck with a cold drink in hand.
If you’re ready to dine fireside outdoors with your partner or friends, Sparkling Hill awaits. Our scrumptious summer menu offers plenty of temptations.
Not hungry? No worries. Enjoy a glass of local red, white, or rosé wine while breathing in the fresh air and warm ambiance of Vernon’s best patio! Our seasonal signature cocktails (including Mojitos and Cherry Bombs) always hit the spot. Anyone aged 16+ is invited to join us outside this July and August.
Dining Out (and Outside) in Sparkling Hill Style
If you’ve never been to Sparkling Hill, the outdoor Terrace Restaurant is located just off the lobby past our gift shop.
If you are familiar with Sparkling Hill and its various eateries, rest assured our main restaurant, PeakFine, is still open for breakfast from 6:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. and dinner service from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m.
The ever-popular Austrian dining experience known as Gerni’s Farmhouse, located a hop, skip, and a jump away from our main doors, remains open from noon to 9 p.m.
And just because it’s always a good time for a caffeinated beverage or a chilled Bellini, the bar at Barrique & Java is open for business every day of the week from 9:30 a.m. to midnight.
What’s on the Menu?
Simply put, lots of yummy stuff. There are gluten-free, nut-free, and vegan options available for all to enjoy, plus plenty of mouthwatering selections for those with a more carnivorous appetite.
You’ll find nothing but fresh, locally sourced ingredients representing the spectrum of British Columbia’s many culinary delights.
More specifically, you’ll find a menu featuring mouthwatering poke bowls and salads with Tuna Tataki, Sesame Soy Salmon, Lemon Poppy Seed Tossed Chickpeas, Balsamic Chicken Thigh, Teriyaki Mushrooms, and Slow-Cooked Flat Iron Steak as delectable add-ons.
All of our pizzas, sandwiches, and shared plates nicely complement the scenery, sun, and good vibes you’ll be soaking in at Sparkling Hill.
Calling All Hungry Tourists and Locals
When you’ve done your day at the beach, you have an excellent outdoor spot to enjoy the views of Okanagan Lake from afar. The Terrace Restaurant offers plenty of seating and a menu with inspiring and appetizing flavour combinations.
