KURSPA SIGNATURE GLACIAL CLAY WRAP
The Glacial Clay Body Wrap is a wonderful experience if one is looking to detox and relax in quiet time. The Glacial Clay service starts with a brief body exfoliation using KurSpa’s unique blend of Himalayan pink salt. Following this step, a heated glacial clay mixed with the finest lavender essential oils is painted on the body. The treatment closes as we cocoon our guests in a cloth wrap to relax.
The benefits of this simple yet profound service are perfect for anyone who is looking for a gentle and relaxing detox. The clay draws toxins through the skin and at the same time the skin will be absorbing trace minerals from the clay, as the brief exfoliation will enhance this effect. The lavender added to the clay creates a further benefit to the service, as not only is it a relaxing scent, it has been used to heal and soothe the skin for centuries.
The time you take for your self should never be under valued. By nurturing ourselves, we let go of stress. By letting go of stress, in reconnecting with your body, revitalization is realized and appreciated.
About DEAN TARASEWICH:
Born and raised in the Okanagan Valley, I was always interested in health and wellness. After graduation, I attended OVCMT and completed my Spa Certification program offered by the college. Afterwards, I started work at Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise AB. I returned home after a year and have since worked in spas at Silver Star Mountain Resort, Lake Okanagan Resort and the spa in the Capri Hotel Kelowna. I did work for smaller companies along the way but the resort industry continued calling me back. I have had the privilege of working with Sparkling Hill since it was opened in 2010, I started as a service provider, grew in my role to become a Team Lead. I continued my professional growth to become Assistant Manager and now I am the KurSpa manager. I have worked in the wellness industry for almost a decade and I look forward to many more years of assisting people on the path to wellness.
