Department Position Description
Front Desk Night Auditor

Previous hotel experience is preferred, but not necessary if similar, related experience and/or education is applicable. Previous Maestro experience is an asset. For more information, click here.

Front Desk Reservations Agent

Individuals must have previous hospitality experience working in resorts or hotels, and directly in Guest Services. Preferred candidates will possess a minimum of 2+ years’ experience as a Front Desk Agent, or working in Reservations. Previous Maestro Property Management System experience is an asset. KurSpa Esthetician

Applicants may have a variety of experience and certification in Esthetics, with relative working experience in either a Day Spa setting, or hotel/resort setting. Applicants possessing hospitality or guest services in a spa setting is an asset, but not required. You must have a bona fide certificate from an accredited program in either BC, or Alberta, and can be specialized or experienced in any of the esthetician spectrum. Candidates must be professional and have excellent guest service skills or potential to provide excellent guest services for our hotel guests. For more information, click here.

KurSpa Spa Practitioner

Candidates must demonstrate exceptional guest service skills in addition to possessing experienced Spa Practitioner qualifications and skills. Applicants may have a variety of related experience in the Spa/Beauty profession and sector, with relative working experience in the Spa Sector, or hotel/resort setting. Previous hospitality or guest services experience is an asset but is not required. Candidates must have a bona fide certificate from an accredited program in either BC or Alberta. Sales & Marketing Marketing & Digital Media Specialist

This individual will work closely with the Sales & Marketing Manager to drive revenue and ADR while educating different markets about Sparkling Hill. The position requires an individual that is very detail oriented, self-motivated, and has strong computer skills. Kitchen Cook

Join the Kitchen team at Sparkling Hill Resort! We currently have a position available for a Line Cook/Demi Chef de Partie position in our PeakFine Restaurant. To learn more click here.

Kitchen Breakfast Cook

We currently have an opening for a full-time position of Breakfast Cook - The primary responsibility for this position is to execute our European style buffet breakfast, as well as a la carte breakfast dining in our PeakFine Restaurant. Kitchen Afternoon Pastry Cook

Sparkling Hill Resort is looking to fill the position of Afternoon Pastry Cook. This individual must have a well rounded knowledge of all areas of the kitchen, with demonstrated experience in a pastry kitchen or bakery. Restaurant Junior Server

Service style is European fine dining and staff will go through an intensive, European training program to host and serve in our resort dining locations: PeakFine Restaurant (seats 240); Barrique & Java (70 seats); Austrian Ballroom for banquets/events (seats 180); and Gernot's private lounge (seats 30). Candidates will be prompt, courteous and hospitable. Candidates must also be well groomed and service orientated. KurSpa Spa Attendant

Candidates must demonstrate exceptional guest service skills – remaining calm and courteous at all times – in addition to being organized, physically fit and able to work well under pressure. Previous spa, hospitality and/or guest services experience is preferred. Candidates will be highly responsible and reliable and be comfortable working independently, with little direct supervision. Housekeeping Room Attendant

Candidates must possess a strong desire to provide high levels of service and have a professional and welcoming demeanor. Previous hotel/resort housekeeping experience is preferred, but not required. For more information, click here.

Housekeeping Evening Cleaning Attendant

The primary role is to clean the public hotel areas - restaurant, ballroom, bathrooms, hall corridors, spa area, etc. The Evening Cleaning Attendant will also assist with cleaning and stocking rooms, and delivering items to guest rooms upon request. Kitchen Steward/Dishwasher

The role is to work in a large commercial kitchen, operating a conveyor belt dishwashing system, scrubbing pots/pans, sanitizing kitchen area, wash and sweep floors, remove garbage, etc. In addition, general basic cleaning duties in the kitchen for hygiene and food sanitation will be needed. This role is to be the first point of contact for guests when they arrive in the Restaurant, and to provide a high level of fine-dining service.
