Job Duties:

 

  • Greet team members at our staff entrance
  • Take temperatures of all staff as they enter the building
  • Ensure that all temperatures are within a normal range
  • Follow all COVID-19 protocol
  • Complete staff arrival logs and organize them as necessary
  • Maintain a clean and organized work station at all times
  • Ensure station is stocked with appropriate items (logs, sanitizer, cleaning spray)

Assistant Housekeeping Manager - Evenings

Job Duties:

Duties Include, but are not limited to:

• Manager the department in the absence of the Housekeeping Manager
• Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
• Assist in managing the day-to-day operation of the department to ensure service standards are
followed
• Maintain all guest rooms, public areas and heart of the house areas (KurSpa); ensuring that the highest standard of cleanliness is met
• Ensure good communication within the housekeeping department and with other departments
• Maintain the confidentiality and integrity of inter-departmental communications and documents
• Assist in maintaining an up-to-date inventory of linens and cleaning materials as well as placing regular
orders with suppliers
• Assist with biweekly payroll reporting of the Housekeeping Department
• Prepare documentation and training for new employees
• Assist with creating staff schedule and entering into TimeTrex
• Create daily assignments for Room Attendants & Supervisors
• Conduct room inspections and ensure service standards are followed
• Report necessary maintenance items
• Address guest concerns and react quickly - notifying proper departments as required
• Assist the Housekeeping Manager in achieving departmental targets and goals in a financially
responsible manner
• Attend scheduled departmental meetings
• Follow departmental policies and procedures as well as all safety and sanitation policies
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Previous leadership experience required
• Computer literate in Microsoft Window applications required

Valet/Bellman

Job Duties:

  • Greet guests when they arrive at the resort
  • Assist with loading and unloading luggage
  • Provide guests with information about the different amenities and locations within Sparkling Hill
  • Safely park and bring up guest vehicles from the underground parking garage
  • Direct traffic and parking for large corporate groups or weddings
  • Bring items to guest rooms as requested
  • Assist guests and other members of the Front Desk to ensure all patrons of the resort have a seamless and exceptional experience

Front Desk Agent

Join the Front Office team at Sparkling Hill Resort! We are seeking a professional, friendly individual for a full-time Front Desk Agent Position.

Job Duties:

  • Answer internal and external phone calls and emails and direct guests to the appropriate department
  • Greet guests and visitors as they enter the resort
  • Complete check outs and check ins and receive payment
  • Create guest reservations and advise callers regarding rates and packages
  • Be knowledgeable about Sparkling Hill amenities and policies in order to advise guests accurately
  • Post and balance payments and charges on guest folios
  • Communicate with other departments such as Maintenance and Housekeeping regarding requests and changes throughout the day
  • Anticipate guest needs in order to provide seamless and exceptional service
  • Receive and respond to guest concerns and address them promptly with the appropriate manager as needed
  • Complete daily checklists and tasks to maintain organization at the Front Desk
  • Count and verify individual cash floats and maintain responsibility for all cash received and given out
  • Prepare reports
  • Arrange transportation or other services for guests
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Previous Front Desk or other hospitality experience preferred
  • Previous experience with Maestro Property Management System an asset
  • Strong interpersonal and problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work cohesively as part of a team as well as independently
  • Ability to focus on guest needs, remain calm and professional at all times
