Sparkling Hill Resort strives to make things as easy as possible for our guests! As such, here are the answers to some of the questions we hear most often. If you have a question that is not answered on this page, please feel free to call our front desk staff 1-877-275-1556.

What time is check-in and check-out?
Check-in is at 4 pm and check-out is at 11 am.

Can I have an early check-in or a late check-out?
We cannot guarantee early check-ins or late check-outs. If you expect to arrive to the resort early, we encourage you to let Front Desk know you have arrived and then enjoy a cup of coffee or dessert in Barrique & Java until your room is ready. 

What is the cancellation policy? 
If you need to cancel your reservation, we require 72 hours' notice prior to 4:00 pm on your day of arrival for all accommodation bookings. For cancellations made within the restrictions of this policy, one night room and tax will be charged to the credit card used to guarantee the reservation. An administration fee of $10 will always be charged regardless of the time of cancellation.

How much tax will I be charged on my room?
The hotel tax is currently set at 15% on top of the stated room price.

What are the pet policies?
If you are utilizing one of our pet rooms, access to pet friendly rooms must proceed through our parkade. Guests are allowed a maximum of two pets per room, animals must weigh under 60 pounds each and must be on a leash at all times. Please be responsible for waste clean-up of your pet. Additional waste bags are available through Front Desk. Pets are not allowed in KurSpa, Peakfine Restaurant or Barrique & Java. A $25.00 per pet per day fee is applicable for pet-friendly rooms. Can I park my own vehicle?
We provide complimentary valet services. If you wish to park your own vehicle you are welcome to park in our Day Parking, however we recommend that everyone utilize our heated, secure underground parking via valet services.

Can we use the spa before check-in?
You can book treatments at the spa as early as 1 pm on the day you are checking-in.

Can we use the spa after check-out?
Spa treatments can be booked up until 2pm on the day of your check-out, however all of your personal belongings must be removed from your room and stored behind front desk. 

Is the KurSpa available to outside guests?
Due to high occupancy, the spa is reserved for hotel guests, predator ridge homeowners and lodge guests only.

When is the KurSpa open?
The KurSpa is open from 7am - 10pm, excluding the steams and saunas. Treatments are available at the KurSpa reception from 9am - 8pm. Steams and saunas are available from 9am - 11am and from 4pm - 10pm.

Annual Outdoor Pool Closure: Please note that the outdoor infinity pool will be closed for maintenance. The other pools will still be available to overnight guests in KurSpa, including the indoor pool, hot pool and Kneipp Waterway. The future outdoor pool closure dates are as follows:

April 30th - May 6th, 2017;
April 29th - May 5th, 2018;
April 28th - May 4th, 2019; and
April 26th - May 2nd, 2020.

Can I use Gift Certificates for KurSpa charges?
For additional KurSpa charges Gift Certificates from Sparkling Hill Resort and WaySpa are accepted.

Why are the steams & saunas closed from 11am - 4pm?
We have 7 steams and saunas, all of which are operating at a high capacity. As they are only designed to run for 8 hours a day in order to have all 7 available to enjoy at all times, our steams and saunas are open from 9:00 am until 11:00 am so guests can enjoy them prior to check out and from 4:00 pm until 10:00 pm to enjoy after check in.

Are children allowed in the spa?
Sparkling Hill Resort is an adult oriented wellness resort. Children under the age of 16 years old are not permitted in our KurSpa, including the pools and steam rooms & saunas.

Where are you located?
We are located in the Okanagan Valley, just outside of Vernon, BC and 30 minutes from the Kelowna International Airport. Click here for more details.

Do you have an ATM?
We do not have an ATM on the premises, however one of Predator Ridge's local shops has an ATM.

Where is the closest grocery/convenience store?
Commonage Market is located just a 3 minute drive down the road. 

How far away is Vernon?
Vernon is a 20 minute drive from Sparkling Hill.

Do I get a discount at the Predator Ridge golf course?
We work very closely with Predator Ridge - Please feel free to contact our Front Desk team at 1-877-275-1556 for seasonal pricing.

Do you have wheelchair accessible rooms?
Yes, Sparkling Hill Resort offers four wheelchair accessible rooms located through out the resort.

What is your drone policy?
As per the Transport Canada website drones are not permitted to be flown closer than 150 meters from people, animals, buildings, structures or vehicles. Sparkling Hill is also a private property and flying over private property or taking photos or videos without written permission is not allowed. Anyone not following the Transport Canada guidelines can be fined up to $25,000. Individuals will be held responsible in ensuring drones are not flown around Sparkling Hill, as it is a privacy invasion. If anyone is found flying a drone, Sparkling Hill reserves the right to keep the drone until the individual is set to depart Sparking Hill, a fine can also be applied depending on the invasion of privacy.

Are you open year-round?
Sparkling Hill Resort is operational 24-hours per day, 7-days a week, except for our annual resort closure, please see the following information for specific dates:
