Making a ReservationTo facilitate bookings and provide services, we collect personal information as follows.

When the reservation form is completed, your credit card number will be verified using a checking sequence and, once this is confirmed, payment is authorized for the reservation. The form is secure, such that your credit card number is protected with encryption technology. Purchasing transactions are facilitated by the thirds party Credit Card Merchant in Canada, who is required to protect the privacy of your Personal Information. Sparkling Hill does not keep any information, it is tokenized in compliance with the PCI requirements.
From time to time, we offer packages or other services that involve third parties. If you book such products or services, your personal information will be shared with that third party to the extent necessary to provide the service and process the purchase or request. Sparkling Hill Resort may use information you provide to send you offers and information about our services and products. If you do not wish to receive such offers, you may unsubscribe or opt out by using the link contained in the electronic mail.

Guest may subscribe to this database by using the online email sign-up process. This information is only used by Sparkling Hill Resort and is not provided or sold to any third parties. Any information sent includes instructions on unsubscribing.

We use Google Analytics to collect data in order to understand how website visitors use our site. This is in order to improve the functionality of our site and provide the most relevant and useful information to our users. This information is anonymous and does not identify individual users. Information is also collected if you complete the “Request for Group Reservations” online form. This information is only used by our Sales department to respond to your inquiry.

Information provided is used for recording feedback and comments, communicating with you in response to them, reviewing them with the staff for the purpose of recognizing employees for exemplary service and for improving our services.
We may collect information through marketing initiatives, including contest, promotions, offers and polls. These initiatives may be online, on the resort, at consumer shows or via social media.
This information may be used to send you newsletters and to advise you of promotions or offers. In order to do this, your information may be shared with a third party, including a customer relationship management contractor and/or marketing and communications contractors.

If you decide to make an online reservation, you will be linked to a reservation interface and a third party booking engine provided by ResWave. While it appears to be part of our site, the Booking Engine is provided by a third party and governed by its own privacy practices. We understand that security remains the primary concern of online consumers and have chosen the Booking Engine vendor carefully.
Protecting Your Information
We would like our Site visitors to feel confident about using the Site to plan and purchase their accommodations at Sparkling Hill Resort. We are committed to protecting the information we collect through a security program implemented with our web designer and maintenance firm to keep information that is stored in our system protected from unauthorized access.
Our Site is hosted in a secure environment. The Site servers/systems are configured with data encryption or scrambling technologies and industry standard firewalls. When you enter personal information during the reservation process or during a customer email sign-up, your data is protected by Secure Socket Layer (SSL) Technology to ensure safe transmission.
As per the Transport Canada website drones are not permitted to be flown closer than 150 meters from people, animals, buildings, structures or vehicles. Sparkling Hill is also a private property and flying over private property or taking photos or videos without written permission is not allowed. Anyone not following the Transport Canada guidelines can be fined up to $25,000. Individuals will be held responsible in ensuring drones are not flown around Sparkling Hill, as it is a privacy invasion. If anyone is found flying a drone, Sparkling Hill reserves the right to keep the drone until the individual is set to depart Sparking Hill, a fine can also be applied depending on the invasion of privacy.
