How long have you been with us at Sparkling Hill?
I have been lucky enough to work here for 2 years.

Why did you choose to work at Sparkling Hill Resort?
It is the best Luxury Resort in the Okanagan. I also believe in Health and Wellness so this was a natural fit for me.

What past education, experiences or career paths have lead you to your current position?
I have worked in Tourism for many years. Working for CP Hotels/Fairmont and Lake Louise Ski Resort/Gondola has given me invaluable experience to my career. I have been able to travel the globe to promote a lot of great tourism products and promote some of the best destinations Canada has to offer. I am excited that my career path has lead me to Sparkling Hill Resort.

What has been the most memorable experience or opportunity you’ve had since working for a Health & Wellness Resort?
The older I get the more I try and work on my Health and Wellness. I am excited on a personal level that I have the opportunity to help form and participate in a new Health and Wellness program (Be the Best You) that we are offering at the Resort. It is incorporating everything we have at Sparkling Hill. From  the Bod Pod (seeing  how fit you really are) daily activity class, daily hiking, cooking demonstrations, spa services, daily cryo cold chamber (-110 degrees below zero) and educational lectures by our wellness lead, Dr. Strauss on helping you with a successful health and wellness journey.

How are you continuing education or working toward professional goals?
While I am at conferences there are professional development seminars that I participate in.  I enjoy learning about Tourism and keeping up with the fast pace of this industry.  I am a big believer that you should learn something new every day. I am always learning from Tourism and the Health Wellness Industry.
